QINGHUA DONGLU
Qinghua Donglu is a name of an avenue in Beijing.
There used to be a long wall on one side of the street. I found this wall very fascinating from a graphic point of view. It was full of spots, lines, textures and colors. The idea was to search and isolate some interesting elements from this huge surface to create a series of abstract paintings. The challenge was the pictures' composition, the aesthetic research of every shot's character in order to demonstrate the possible beauty of the seemingly useless, common and unobserved. Every day under our eyes but, in a certain way, almost invisible.
